I am tired of being the same and not changing. Nothing new, everything the same. I am tired of not winning, I am tired of all of my excuses why I have not done what I told Jesus I would do. I am tired of being inspired but not following thru with action, on the inspiration! How can I allow myself to become inspired by the Holy Spirit Himself, and then do nothing! This is clearly a sign of a lack of discipline on my part. So many dreams, so many ideas, and goals, all for what!? So I can wake up at the end of another year and having seen myself in the same place!? NO! This must be a year of new beginnings! This must be a year of change, that I would not allow my self to remain the same in any area of my life! That I would push myself and get past myself, past my own selfish ambition! In with the new, out with the old! (Luke 5:37-39)
Holy Spirit, empower me to change my mind, my spirit, working towards myself becoming a new man, not just admiring the Martyr's but aspiring to be one! And owe do I need unction in my life! Change! This will be a year of new beginnings, even if it results in my death, it will All be worth it for the name above all names, for His glory, in Jesus name, Amen and Hallelujah!
“Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 NLT
“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”
Philippians 3:13-14 NLT
